About Songtaneous
Sarah M. Greer has been conducting Songtaneous sessions in the Twin Cities since 2006. Songtaneous sessions are community singing events. Based on Bobby McFerrin’s “Voicestra” and Sarah’s own work with vocal artist Rhiannon, we join together to create spontaneous songs. Sarah creates and assigns vocal parts to sections of a circle of singers. This environment is a relaxed and playful. Join us as we make music in the moment.

Currently, Sarah hosts Songtaneous events on the first SATURDAY of the month. Aimed at music lovers who want a low-key and fun way to sing without joining a choir or committing to a lot of rehearsals, these sessions are fun, inventive and easy way to sing with others.

About the Wild Rice Festival
A fundraiser for the Harriet Alexander Nature Resource, the annual wild rice festival is a celebration of wild rice, Minnesota fall harvest, and Native American culture. This zero-waste event is free and open to the public.
