I was lucky enough to see gospel greats Mighty Clouds of Joy at the Dakota last night. They encouraged a lot of community singing and I enjoyed this quote by founding singer Joe Ligon.

The quote above pretty much sums up my whole experience of composing and performing my improvised piece with the Echoes of Peace choir last weekend.
